Satonja is a native of Atlanta and in 1997, graduated as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar from Florida A&M University with a BS in Political Science. Upon graduation, Mrs. Scott obtained a job at The Coca-Cola Company, where her interest in being a lawyer was reignited. She went on to work for The Coca-Cola Company for five (5) years while simultaneously attending law school at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2001.
She went on to work for Fulton County Superior Court and later went on to practice law at a Real Estate, Business Law and Immigration boutique firm in Atlanta. During her four (4) years of employment there, she worked her way up to Managing Attorney.
In 2005, Satonja embarked on a new journey start her own law practice in metropolitan Atlanta. Since that time, she has primarily practiced in the areas of Real Estate, Business (Corporation/ LLC Formation and Business Asset Purchases), Contracts, Immigration, and Family Law. Since 2007, she has also served as an Adjunct Professor at several local colleges in Atlanta, where she instructs students in courses, such as Business Law, Real Estate, and Business Ethics.
Scott is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Invest in Southwest Task Force. She currently lives in Atlanta with her loving husband and adorable 2 sons.
